Tefko Saracevic (November 24, 1930
Tefko Saracevic (November 24, – October 5, ) was a Croatian-born American information scientist who was professor emeritus at the School of Communication and Information at Rutgers University. Tefko Saracevic, a world-renowned expert on Tefko Saracevic studied electrical engineering at the University of Zagreb, Croatia and completed his master () and Ph.D. () studies in information science at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. He taught and conducted research at Case till , when he moved to Rutgers.
Tefko Saracevic was born Saracevic joined Rutgers in and has been a full-time member of the SC&I Library and Information Science Department faculty for 25 years. In , he was promoted to Professor II (the highest academic rank at the university). From to , he served as an associate dean at SC&I.
